Privacy policy

The short version: GPS tracking is session-based, it only runs during a walk or run you start, never in the background. We collect the minimum we need to run the waitlist and, later, the app. We never sell your personal data.
Who we are
Webble ("WEBBLE", "we", "us") is an Australian rewards product where points are earned by moving and playing our games. This policy covers the webble.com.au website, the early-access waitlist, and, once launched, the WEBBLE mobile app.
What we collect on this website
- Waitlist email. When you join the waitlist we store your email address, your position in the queue, a referral code, and (if you arrived via a friend's link) which code referred you.
- Enquiries and applications. If you send a partner enquiry or creator application, we store what you submit so we can reply.
- Nothing else. The site sets no advertising trackers. A small entry in your browser's local storage remembers that you've already joined, so we can show your position when you come back.
Cookies
- Essential only by default. The site uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies and local-storage entries: your cookie choice itself, and your waitlist position if you've joined.
- If you accept all, we may additionally use privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages help people, aggregate counts only, never tied to your identity.
- No ad tracking. We never use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or sell browsing data, whatever you choose.
- Change your mind: use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page to choose again, any time.
What the app will collect (at launch)
- Location, session only. Route tracking runs only between the moment you press start and the moment you finish a session. We do not track your location in the background, ever.
- Photos. Photos you take or attach during a session stay private unless you choose to share them.
- Account & activity data. Your profile, distance, duration, points balance and redemption history, needed to run the rewards engine.
What we do with it
- Run the waitlist and notify you at launch.
- Reply to partner enquiries and creator applications.
- Calculate and pay out rewards you earn by moving.
- Build the share carousel you choose to post, sharing is always your tap, never automatic.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
- Track your location outside a session you started.
- Post to your social accounts without your action.
Where your data lives
Data is stored with Supabase (our database provider) in the Sydney, Australia region, protected by row-level security. Access to raw waitlist emails is restricted to the Webble team.
Your choices
- Leave the waitlist / delete your data: email us and we'll remove your record.
- App permissions: location and camera access will be optional and requested in-context, the app will explain why before asking.
